א

לַמְנַצֵּ֗חַ מִזְמ֥וֹר לְדָוִֽד׃

For the leader. A psalm of David.

ב 1

יַֽעַנְךָ֣ יְ֭הֹוָה בְּי֣וֹם צָרָ֑ה יְ֝שַׂגֶּבְךָ֗ שֵׁ֤ם ׀ אֱלֹהֵ֬י יַעֲקֹֽב׃

May GOD answer you in time of trouble,
the name of Jacob’s God keep you safe—

ג 6

יִשְׁלַֽח־עֶזְרְךָ֥ מִקֹּ֑דֶשׁ וּ֝מִצִּיּ֗וֹן יִסְעָדֶֽךָּ׃

sending you help from the sanctuary,
and sustaining you from Zion.

ד

יִזְכֹּ֥ר כׇּל־מִנְחֹתֶ֑ךָ וְעוֹלָתְךָ֖ יְדַשְּׁנֶ֣ה סֶֽלָה׃

May [God] receive the tokens, “token portion” of grain offering; Lev. 2.2, 9, 16, etc. of all your grain offerings,
and approve your burnt offerings. Selah.

ה

יִֽתֶּן־לְךָ֥ כִלְבָבֶ֑ךָ וְֽכׇל־עֲצָתְךָ֥ יְמַלֵּֽא׃

May your desire be granted,
your every plan fulfilled.

ו 4

נְרַנְּנָ֤ה ׀ בִּ֘ישׁ֤וּעָתֶ֗ךָ וּבְשֵֽׁם־אֱלֹהֵ֥ינוּ נִדְגֹּ֑ל יְמַלֵּ֥א יְ֝הֹוָ֗ה כׇּל־מִשְׁאֲלוֹתֶֽיךָ׃

May we shout for joy in your victory,
arrayed by standards in the name of our God.
May GOD fulfill your every wish.

ז 1

עַתָּ֤ה יָדַ֗עְתִּי כִּ֤י הוֹשִׁ֥יעַ ׀ יְהֹוָ֗ה מְשִׁ֫יח֥וֹ יַ֭עֲנֵהוּ מִשְּׁמֵ֣י קׇדְשׁ֑וֹ בִּ֝גְבֻר֗וֹת יֵ֣שַׁע יְמִינֽוֹ׃

Now I know that GOD will give victory to our anointed one,
will answer him from the heavenly sanctuary
with the mighty victories of God’s right arm.

ח 8

אֵ֣לֶּה בָ֭רֶכֶב וְאֵ֣לֶּה בַסּוּסִ֑ים וַאֲנַ֓חְנוּ ׀ בְּשֵׁם־יְהֹוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֣ינוּ נַזְכִּֽיר׃

They [call] on chariots, they [call] on horses,
but we call on the name of the ETERNAL our God.

ט

הֵ֭מָּה כָּרְע֣וּ וְנָפָ֑לוּ וַאֲנַ֥חְנוּ קַּ֝֗מְנוּ וַנִּתְעוֹדָֽד׃

They collapse and lie fallen,
but we rally and gather strength.

י 4

יְהֹוָ֥ה הוֹשִׁ֑יעָה הַ֝מֶּ֗לֶךְ יַעֲנֵ֥נוּ בְיוֹם־קׇרְאֵֽנוּ׃ {פ}

O ETERNAL One, grant victory to the king;
may [God] answer us when we call.
